For a Baby girl due in April

 A layer cake of fabrics - made some time ago & it's been sitting waiting for the right little person to come along.

Close up of the quilting - used a serpentine stitch 'cause stitching straight is sooooo hard!

 This was a panel, cut it up & added the background - it's hand quilted with stars using shashiko thread.

 Backing pieced using left overs & a bit more from the stash.

Close up of the quilting.  This is going to a girlfriend's grandson - hope they like it.

 My niece & her husband will be doing the El Campio Santiago (think that's right) - so I'm going on the journey through the cards - Step 1 - Sydney to London to Paris.

 I've managed to keep this going for 12 months now.  The one above was 'My Pet" - we don't have a pet but we do have frogs, chooks & fish in our back yard!

 January's theme was 'Silohuette' - my African fabric came to the rescue.

 I received this one for 'My Pet' and below the theme was 'Angel'.
