We had lunch at various venues along the esplanade at Redcliffe - there is an area devoted to the Bee Gees - Redcliffe bring their home in the 1960's (I think I'm right!) We ended our day at Northside Sewing Centre http://www.northsidesewingcentre.com.au/ was our last stop and I forgot to take photos. It's a great shop with more wonderful fabric. It was a great day out. |
Heavenly Patchwork http://heavenlypatchwork.com.au/ of Clontarf welcomed us with their delightful little shop. The banner panel was a hit with a lot of the ladies & they shopped well!!! |
First stop after a long trip from Sherwood to Shorncliffe (about an hour for those not from Brisbane) - then on to the shops - first shop was Faeries in my Garden http://www.faeriesinmygarden.com.au/ - they are holding a sale in January. Delightful shop & great fabric. |
On our return from OS - there were 2 pieces waiting for me - both from Lady L - a nice welcome home! |
Sand 'paintings' in the shopping centres - sorry didn't find out what festival is was. Aren't the designs beautiful? |
These little mosaic pieces of art appeared all over east London streets - they popped up in lots of place & all different - every now & then an arrow apeared. |
And this was the pub that housed the loos of the previous post. We had lunch there - low ceilings & a thatched roof - what more could one want. |
