Beer & more friends.

 Pineapple beer????
Working out where we're going ? How many musems can we fit in? Too much to see, only a few days to see it in!Annie & SU help with the itinerary.

Eating!

We met up with Jason & his family for lunch & an afternoon of talking & laughing after a delicious lunch. Thought I might have a chance to loose weight this trip - doesn't look like that's going to happen.

A walk downtown

It was a bit drizzly but not cold so we had a morning walk. No one around.

Afternoon with Benny

An afternoon of painting & talking with No. 1 son via Skype.

30 Day Challenge

I'm in a group called 'Broadstrokes' & we've been given a challenge by one who shall remain nameless. Each day we're to do something & repeat the technique throughout the month. Selfies stitching (hand & machine) collage, painting. It'll be great to see them all at the end of the month.I'm doing a little book of 30 days recording simply what happens in my life.

Quinn's Backyard

Made this for Quinn - his Grandma hand appliquéd the insects  & I did the rest. Made completely from my stash & there's still so much left. Really happy with this little quilt.

Painting Fun...

Margaret & I spent last Friday playing with paint at 'Cork & Chroma.'
 Bubbly was also involved.

 Selected the colours & after 3 hours.....Voila!
A finished piece of art! My first. Might be my last.I know why I like fabric - colour without the mess on your fingers & hands.
