It's a jungle out there............

Photo's a bit wonky - sorry 'bout that! A friend is expecting another Great-grandchild & asked for a jungle themed quilt. Hope this qualifies - there are elephants, giraffes, tigers, monkeys and a pink rhino ( hope that isn't too strange????)  All from my stash - still trying to get that down..............  Will welcome comments on the design.

More Baby Stuff

I have made some Burp Cloths -pattern came from http://homemadebyjill.blogspot.com.au/2008/burp-cloth-tutorial.html - I know we used to use an old nappy but these are made from flannel & are so soft & really quick to make.

Stuff for Baby

As the day gets closer when the baby bump will be revealed - I am making a few things as any quilt grandmother to be does. I bought this panel in Devises, Wiltshire & am pleased with myself  - I finished it! A little clothe book.

De-stashing????

Ever the optimist - using only strips from my scraps & stash - of course, it didn't make a slight bit of difference to the amount of fabric I have!!!!  Top finished - it goes into a pile awaiting the finishing touch..............

On their way..............

These 2 pieces are my responsibility to send out.  We made 6 pieces when 3 of us (that's Mail Artists) met in London recently.  We had fun & HofM moved himself out of the equation by chatting to the people at the next table.  We met in the "Spy Room" of the Morphett Arms Pub - where MI5 meet for lunch!!!!!!
