One of the lovely old buildings in Farnham.

A row of Almhouses - they are so small - reckon there would only be 2 rooms downstairs & maybe one small room upstairs.

Part of Franham Castle  - not too much left of the keep but the Bishop's Palace has been in use since 1600's.

The Bishop's Palace - this has been privately owned since 1960's & is used as a Conference Centre & of course, you can get married in style here too.

Off on another adventure

http://www.welshquilts.com/  This link will give you a clue as to where we will be heading over the next 6 weeks.  We leave tonight for Kuala Lumpur on our way to England.  I am extremely fortunate that Kaffe Fassett has decided to hold an exhibition while we are there - at the Welsh Quilt Centre - that is on our/my list for this trip.  The rest of the time will be taken up visiting relatives of HofM & walk the streets his ancestors walked.  We are looking forward to a relatively quiet trip & hopefully get some rest as well.

The little girl is Cecelia, mother of HofM taken around 1913 - how's that 100 yrs ago!

Some of the quilts were hung over the rails - in total 79 quilts on display - not bad for a group of 17 ladies.  Everyone displayed something.  If you missed us this year, you will have to wait for a year or 2 before we build up enough steam to do it all again.  Thank you again for everyone who supported us.

Isn't he gorgeous - Zeus, companion dog to No: 2 son who has PTSD.  He received Zeus through Young Diggers http://www.abc.net.au/news/2013-08-02/dogs-help-diggers-ease-horrors-of-war/4862688 a great programme that is helping soldiers cope with life.  Info on Young Diggers can be found on their site.
