Our patron, Gail Chalker, cut the cake and was our guest speaker for the morning.

50th Anniversary Quilt
This quilt was made for Mum & Dad for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. It's needle-turn applique, hand quilted. Can't believe I managed to do it. It was started in a Dianne Johnston workshop.
There are dates embroidered in each of the blocks that are relevant to their lives and names of family and places they've lived embroidered in the leaves on the borders. Think it took around 2 years to complete.

67th Wedding Anniversary
My parents celebrated 67 years of marriage yesterday.
They're not bad for 90 & 91 yrs of age. The Aged Care Facility Dad is in put on a spread for Mum & Dad, family & residents. It was great.
