It's all about being 3

 It's Benny's 3rd Birthday in a couple of days & I made the above puppet theatre for her (thank you Pinterest) & also her new quilt. Mum chose the colours (wasn't sure how it would all work) & I had the pattern & I think it really did work.  Really happy with 'Serapa for Benny'.

Another Grandchild

This is the start of the quilt for 2nd grandchild due in April. Using a Michelle Hill pattern again. Sibling for this nearly 3 year old. She's certainly growing up.

Qld Quilter's Quilt Show

 My piece won 3rd in the Open Art Quilt section. I called it 'Earth' Maps'.

2QAQ stand at the show. We showcased member's work - thought the stand looked great.

What do you do with all the lovely postcards received in a swap. A friend suggested this. So easy & they look great.

2Q Challenge 2016

The fabric for this challenge was floral - I used it to make the birds. I was happy with it.

Ekka!

 Each year Brisbane hosts the Royal National Show - the Exhibition or Ekka & we have a Quilt Show . This was on the verandah outside the show. Primary schools entered their small gardens.
