Love it when a loo gives a surprise!  I certainly did a double take in this one.  Just had to take photos.  Gotta love the English sense of humour & nonsense.

Quilt in Wood?

Our host in Chippenham uses wood - she makes cupboards, stools & wall pieces - above is the front (all smooth) & the reverse below - more textured & the odd bit of colour - she doesn't varnish, just uses an oil to protect. The variety in the colour of wood was amazing.

Devises, Wiltshire



The leaves are turning and they were putting up Halloween decorations on the front of the pub.  Devises is a really lovely town & I also found a little quilt shop there - surprise, surprise!
