Priscilla outdid herself with this one - Helen Godden style. There were words stitched in the 'rivers' running out of the book.
This was only one block on a fascinating 1st time entrant. The quilt depicted scenes from Africa & there was a lot of hand stitching - just brilliant. Queensland Quilters outdid themselves again - a great show & a big thank you to all who helped get it there.

ReplyDeleteYes Chris that first time entrant got my vote for viewers choice as it was original designs , balanced and beautifully stitched with a variety of techniques . No pattern here or a copy . Lovely and pleased to see she won a viewers choice prise
