A friend of mine, Tricia Smout, is Artist-in-Residence at our Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens for 2012. She asked for flowers to make a quilt - passed out squares of fabric and was overwhelmed by the response. She had her first Exhibition resulting from work done during the first half of the residency last week and the quilt/s of flowers were on display.
