Woomargama

Isn't this beautiful, even though it was drizzly & a bit cold? Looking towards the Hume Highway from the front of my cousin's house.  I had taken my parents away for a few days to visit the area that my Dad grew up in.  It was great to catch up with relatives and old friends.
This is the driveway up to the house - like most properties, it is usually a long drive from the front gate to the house.

The shed had a couple of really interesting bits & pieces - like most farms/properties, you don't throw anything out - it might come in handy.  Not sure when those wagon wheels will be used!
Every farm has to have a faithful hound - isn't he gorgeous & he's just a lodger!

The Hume Dam - full - just like a lot of dams around the country - this bridge goes across the water from New South Wales to Victoria.
A view of Albury from Monument Hill - the monument can be seen all around Albury.

The last of the autumn leaves - something we don't really see here in Brisbane so we Queenslanders just love all the autumn colours - reds, yellows, oranges etc - just beautiful.  Guess not everyone would think the piles of leaves are wonderful, especially if you have to rake them all up.

Not much happening

'
This is a piece of my 'Flood Art' - these photos were damaged by the January flood waters, rescued by a friend, cleaned & dried & now I am embellishing them & sending them out as Mail Art mailart365.blogspot.com - there are some great pieces there and mine are under the label of BrisChris.

This piece was received from Kiera Pannell in Canada - a really lovely paper collage.  The photo does not do it justice.
