One of our members, Tricia Smout, showed us a use for old tea bags.  Used, dried, emptied, pulled apart, some even ironed them - then we folded, crushed, & dyed them - goodness knows what will develop now. I will show you how mine turned out when they are dried & ironed!

2QAQ Meeting

We had a wonderful display from members at Saturday's meeting - some of the Show'n'Tell.  It was truly inspiring.

SoTA14 - "Showcase Unlimited"

Some of the exhibits in this year's State of the Art exhibition - "Showcase Unlimited".  It will be on display with other quilts & crafts & Qld Quilters' Challenge at St Pauls'Anglican Church in the centre of Ipswich. The Show is open from Wednesday, 30th April - Sunday, 4th May and open from 9.00am - 3.00pm except for Sunday when it opens at Noon.

Here's our Bat plant in full glory!  Those whiskers are so soft & each little cone will produce a little flower of sorts.

One bud & one flower from the same plant - it looks like HofM may have found the right spot for these plants.

A friend gave me her dog's old quilt - sadly Sal died over 12 months ago. We didn't know how Zeus would take to it - after really sniffing it, he decided it was pretty good & has claimed it as his own.
