Cooroy - August

So many exhibitions around the region - this one was at Cooroy about an hour and a half north of Brisbane.

This piano was outside the art gallery in Cooroy.

Dalby - August

Went out to Dalby - 2 hours west of Brisbane to visit Dalby Patchworkers.

Breakfast here was great.

The ladies are very talented and it was an absolute delight to visit and speak to them about Queensland Quilters Inc.  Hope to get out there another time.

Warwick - July

It's Jumpers and Jazz time in Warwick in July.  We visited the weekend before it opened - here they're starting to decorate the Town Hall.

This gentleman dons a cap and scarf for the cold weather.

We were there for the OzQuilt Network exhibition.  Here are a few pieces from the exhibition.  It was well worth the drive.

Sorry - can't let you know the artists - the entire exhibition was inspiring.

Time to catch up

It's been a while so I'll do a little catch up.  In early June, I flew to Canberra for the Canberra Quilt Show and a bit of a rest - all by myself.  I drove out to Gundaroo - an historical village and enjoyed lunch, coffee, a fire (it was cold) and not having to be anywhere in particular.
