Verandah & Deck make-over

The cushions needed some attention - found the fabric at Spotlight & managed to make them look half way decent.  Certainly brightens up the place. HoM has been re-oiling the furniture so it looks almost new.

The Art Textile Biennale

The Art Textile Biennale is on at the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery until the end of May.  It is certainly worth the drive.  Congratulations to Glenys Mann & Noni Hazelhurst (Fibre Arts Australia) for curating this wonderful exhibition featuring a number of  Australian & International artists.

Trip to Rosewood

Dulcie Mason collection. The collection consists of 72 hand sewn ball gowns made by Thelma Buetel for Dulcie Mason, approx 1 per year from the 1950s. We drove to Rosewood to enjoy this exhibition and were blown away by the collection (a few memories there), the size of the morning tea (inc. in our $5 entry fee) and the Op Shops (Thrift shops) where we helped the economy of the town.
