Nos. 27 & 28 of my Stitch Meditations

This morphed in to a landscape when I added the 2 greenish pieces on the sandy coloured fabric.  A tree & grasses completed the picture.

Add little scraps to the yellow background - then pondered on how to add some interest.  The stitching seemed to take over and achieve the interest I was looking for.

Japanese Garden

Another beautiful garden in Toowoomba - will go back when there are less people.  It was a bit too noisy for what I want from Japanese tranquility.

Nobby

Food at Rudd's Pub - huge servings like most pubs.

A Blue wren came to visit - don't see them at our place.

Front yard of our accommodation -

Front door of one of the buildings in Nobby

In front of the General Store

Sister Kenny Museum - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Kenny - this will give you information on one of our famous women.

Steele Rudd - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steele_Rudd - another famous Australia - an author. The pub is worth a visit - steeped in local history and friendly locals.

Laurel Bank Park

A floral float that didn't get to go through the streets of Toowoomba

This park was full of floral displays - most annuals and looking beautiful.

Spring Bluff Railway Station

This little railway station always has a wonderful floral display during the Carnival of Flowers.

Poppies & railway tracks - the station is half way up the Great Dividing Range on the way to Toowoomba.

Appropriate mail box.

Camelias (I think!)

More meditation

Trying to go softer

Managed to use pastels for a softer look

Back to bold

The bottom colour is actually a dark green - these little pieces are such fun.
