Fotheringhay & Mary, Queen of Scots.

The walkway to the church in Fotheringhay - the castle of Fotheringhany (no longer around) was the site of the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots.  She was first buried in the Peterborough Cathedral - later her body was moved to Westminster Cathedral.  Below is the Church at Fotheringhay taken from across the stream.
