Labyrinth

A couple of weeks ago, I walked a labyrinth - another tick on the bucket list.  This one was at St John's Lutheran Church, Corinda (Brisbane) and was painted on canvas (hence the wrinkles, so wanted to straighten it!) - as the candles were lit, they added another dimension to the experience.  There are a few labyrinths in SE Qld - one in St John's Cathedral and one at Grantham where a flood took a number of lives and homes in 2011.

  1. Is this in the church because there are no services happening? As it seems to be installed where the pews usually are.. did someone make it ?

    1. You're right - a school on the Sunshine Coast owns the canvas. Apparently there is one in St John's Cathedral that I'm going to check out sometime.

  2. The wrinkles would make me a bit twitchy! I would have difficulty concentrating on the journey.

  3. I must admit, I was sorely tempted to get down & straighten it all out. It was an interesting experience & one I will take on again.
