More Cornwall

Our friends were tracing his ancestors & the trail led to Bucknell Filleigh, Devon.  This manor house was once owned by his ancestors - for 4 generations.  We were gob-smacked, to say the least, when we entered the house to have a look around.  The present owner allowed us to wander anywhere we wanted.  The house is rented out at 6,000 pound per week.  Extra 35 pound per day for heating in winter.  Any takers?

There were patchwork quilts on some of the beds.

The house - just an average home!!!

This sign was in the window of a pub - it was interpreted as "Open - wif 1 pool table!" - not an unreasonable interpretation!
