Still in Cornwall

Bude - surfing capital of Cornwall.  The day was wet, windy & bitterly cold (for us Queenslanders) & yet the beach & water were full of people surfing & learning to surf.

Clovelly - Devon - http://www.clovelly.co.uk/ another beautiful fishing village - so steep they use sleds made of milk crates to take their groceries down.  Donkeys were once used but are now in retirement & used for children's rides & photos only.  We walked down, had lunch at the Red Lion pub (so many pub lunches - I can feel the waistline broadening even more), walked on the beach (rocks) & got a ride in a Land Rover back up to the top.
